How to apply?

To apply and test for any of the above positions you will need to come by our office, located at 1501 North Amburn Road, Ste. 14, in Texas City (click on the DIRECTIONS tab at the left for detailed directions).  Please bring your résumé (if applicable), your driver's license or photo identification and social security card.  You will be asked to fill out an application and, depending on time and availability, you will be interviewed and skill tested.  Keep in mind, that in today's tight job market, most clients require a thorough background check and drug screening.

I have already applied to all the "other" agencies in the area, why come to you?  Simply put because we are the best and our clients are usually so satisfied with our work they rarely use anyone but us.  We feel that we will not just find you a job, but help place you in a career that you will be happy with for years to come.

I am looking for a permanent job, do I still need to provide my driver's license & social security card?  Yes, due to the fact that most companies experience the most turnover in the first 90 days, the trend is now to go temp-to-hire.  When placed into your new permanent position, your first approximately 90 days will be your probationary period.  During this time, you will be on either Ann Best Elite's or A.B.E.T.'s payroll and benefit plan.  Rather than have you make another unnecessary trip into the office to bring in these needed documents, you must bring them with you at the time of application and interview.

When will I get paid?  First, congratulations on your new job!  Whether you are temporary or temp-to-hire your payday will be every week on Friday.  You may either set up direct deposit, have your check mailed to you, or come into the office to pick it up. 

Can I get paid in cash or daily?  No.  Ann Best Elite Temporaries, Inc. & A.B.E.T. pride ourselves on providing only the most qualified, thoroughly screened workers.

Do you have to have a degree to apply?  No.  While a degree is helpful and sometimes required by our clients, we have many positions available where solid work experience and good references may be substituted.  We also have many entry-level positions available as well.

I already took a drug screen for another job and have the paperwork saying I passed, must I take another one?  Yes.  There are no exceptions to our strict drug screen policy.
